Abstract

|
A case of acute intestinal obstruction of 21. years old male soldier with adult ascaris mass that were 26 in number was reported which was treated by surgical removal of the ascarises in the 3rd Army Hospital. They were measuring of from the largest 28.OX0.7XO.7cm.to6.OXO.4XQ.4cm in size. The review of literature for life cycle of the ascaris, characteristical clinical manifestations, treatment and side effects of Piperazine was discussed.
